Roadkill Zoo pg13 inks

And now for some of the sequential art to Roadkill Zoo...

RZ has been kind of fun as I've almost kind of been an art director of sorts. I recommended Nick as the cover artist, and also tracked down Buddy Setiawan as the sequential artist. Buddy I found on the Digital Webbing message boards. He had posted some samples of his art there and was lamenting the toils all us artists go through on trying to get noticed and get work, and the frustration of possibly having to give up the dream and face the realities of a normal job. Seeing some of his sequentials posted on those boards...I thought here was a guy with some obvious talent that just needed a place to show it. And it was as simple as that. He's already drawn 3 full issues with a few more to go. And during that, has also done some work for DC's marketing division (cellphone art). I really feel it's only a matter of time before he breaks out and becomes a known commodity. And then I can say...I knew him when...
