My lovely wife Ajahli has just made a public post on our Patreon describing some of the changes we are working on implementing over the next month. We would appreciate your thoughts so we can provide the best service possible to everyone. Check it out here: www.patreon.com/posts/18947328

Yeah, not even a year into living in America & it turns out I need to fork out a wad of cash for medical expenses, & I'm not even sick! So here's the long & short, my Greencard process is kinda slowed due to the fact that the Immigration service has lost my Medical information. All those tests, cups pee'd into & blood taken has been lost into the ether. Now I need to fork out just under $600 to get a fresh bunch of tests done here locally. So, I'm pushing real hard on the old Commission drum right now. Sure I have Ko-fi/patreon etc if you just want to donate something but I would be more than happy to earn the cash, so, if you like my work & would like something of your own, nsfw/sfw, group content or solo, whatever you like, any questions you have, feel free to ask. My prices are listed in my header/footer along with links to the different ways you can help me cover the cost of the Immigration services fuckup, & if you have ZERO money-Dollars as I do, feel free to signal boost etc.To clarify, this isn't me E-Begging cause I'm at risk of deportation or anything, I'm just trying to get some extra cash together so this $600 bite isn't going to sting as much. Love ya all!

In an effort to be a bit more open & share whats going on with my creative process I'm turning my Patreon into a blog, where you can read whats going on with my comic, as well as other projects & plans I have for the year. Every time I have an update I will be sharing a link & brief summary here. Todays is a bit rambling but it's about some of the issues I've had over the past year working on my comic Heir's to the Throne' & what I want to do over this coming year. You can read the entire thing (with pictures, wow) for free here: www.patreon.com/posts/16838253

Cross post from my journal on Fur Affinity, hence the references to NSFW Furry art:
Hey gang, so, first of all, thank you & welcome to the recent influx of new followers, it honestly means the world how many people have taken an interest in my work recently. Second I wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who has been following the development of my webcomic Heirs to the Throne, a long-form murder mystery/black comedy where the main characters are actively trying to ignore the plot, & are only interested in their inheritance. I have been trying to get that project off the ground for over 10 years & have almost completed the first 2 chapters in the space of a year has been a wonderful feeling. Also having been able to move to America to get married to my longtime fan/best friend/love of my life Ajahli has been the icing on the cake, & our joint venture Lunar Blaze Studio's has been to 6 separate conventions since I got here, building a loyal following & our Redbubble store has been doing pretty damn well also. So yeah, 2017, all in all not that bad for us. So whats the plan for 2018?

Since my last journal where I was feeling a lil down about being stuck working on just the one thing for over a year & getting a bit stale, I have been producing a ton of new pinup illustrations, gifts for fellow artists that I admire & who have inspired me in the past, & it felt great to mix things up & do something different. I've enjoyed it so much that I'm planning on returning to doing NSFW art on a regular basis while keeping Heirs to the Throne going through the year. However, while both of these things won't really get in the way of me posting here, on my Patreon & other galleries that's a different story. The audience we have cultivated this past year for Lunar Blaze is awesome, supportive, but NSFW is not really something I'd want to throw at them. So I'm resurrecting my old personal Patreon at www.patreon.com/devillo for any and all adult content. Now, this isn't just going to be Furry art which you will find here, I'm also planning on some short Hentai comic runs with human characters, including an erotic horror project I've been thinking about for a while now. Also on the Lunar Blaze patreon www.patreon.com/lunarblazestud… you will be able to see all the behind the scenes work not just on Heirs to the Throne, but also The Illustrated Dracula, a project I'm planning on having completed for Halloween 2018. So in total, that's at least 3 large print projects, and a ton of standalone Illustration work that I have planned spread over the next 12 months. And this is all while I'm still unemployed, at the moment it's looking like my Greencard to work in a regular job isn't going to be a thing until March, so I'm trying to be as productive as possible before the inevitable drop off that 'real life' is going to throw.

I think that's pretty much it, I just wanted to thank everyone for their support so far, & hope you are excited as I am for what next year brings!

Hey gang, yes I am alive! Holy crap what a few months its been though. While September was a crazy nightmare with 3 multiple day conventions all but back to back, we decided to take the entirety of October off to recharge our batteries. During that time I have been working on a few non-fur projects, catching up with some client commissions, & in an unexpected turn of events I ended up brainstorming & outlining yet another major project which I am sooo not ready to talk about now, but I did briefly mention it on my Patreon as I felt guilty for almost a month of no content there.  The good news is that the green card process is now paid off, my passport is fully renewed & aside from an interview or two my immigration status in America should be solid, so now I guess the only thing that's going to stop me from working is actually getting a regular paying job to stop my wife from having to support the both of us.

So aside from the real-life stuff here's a loose plan of whats coming up for the next 12 months.
-I'm going to be working my ASS off on getting Chapter 2 of Heirs finished, & possibly a good chunk of 3 done as well.
-Depending on its growth in audience, potential job income & commissions, I may shelve the comic after 12 months to focus on smaller projects. Heirs is going to be a pretty long book that's going to take YEARS to finish, & having it as my first major stab at self-publishing wasn't the smartest of moves XD.
-If I'm able to find a good work/balance routine or collaborators who can take some of the strain off my shoulders I will return to working on Heirs fulltime, but until then any updates will be sporadic.
-During 2017/2018 while Heirs is still in production I am also working on the Illustrated Dracula. This is a set of full-color collection of Illustrations that will be self-published based on the classic Vampire story. Its release date is October 2018.
-After October 2018 & Heirs' potential hiatus, I will begin sharing the development & promotional work on the as yet undiscussed project which Patrons got a sneak peek of recently. This will also be a Non-Fur project.
-Furry fans of mine will not go without, however, as I do have plans for another print collection that will be available this time next year. This project will be adult content, & will be available for purchase in print. More will be discussed on this other print collection in the near future.
-ALL of these projects will also be shared for free online at some point. The physical copies will be print on demand (at this point) & will be sold both online & at future convention appearances. It goes without saying all proceeds from these projects go towards us making more content in the future. If you like what you see, please do support us. If you cant, the work is still there to look at for free.

That's pretty much it for now, we have one final convention for the year in early November, MCFC, which runs from the 17th to the 19th. We will be selling plenty of fur & non-fur fanart, & we hope to see anyone from the Tennessee/Missisipi area there! memphiscfc.com/

Hey gang! So as I have mentioned previously things have gone very well with my move to America so far, the wedding went off without any issue, all our relevant paperwork is filed & I'm now nice & legal. However the next phase is the Greencard registration, & at this point in time, things are going to be difficult for us as we are currently elbow's deep into con preparation for the summer. (Anime Blues Con next month, & Mephit in September) We have enough money to pay our fees (just) but that means we are going to really struggle for a few months as we have spent hundreds already on new Convention material for the year. So while we work on getting some awesome content to you we would appreciate your help in one of the three ways:

While our Patreon is small it is growing, we keep it updated as much as we can not just with Furry Art but also behind the scenes content at other projects including an Illustrated edition of Dracula which we are hoping to have up & running for this Halloween, although with our other projects like Heirs to the Throne Chapter 2 being a priority that date may not pan out. For an average $2 a month you are going to get EVERYTHING we do before anyone else, as well as see a ton of behind the scenes content that normally wouldn't see the light of day. www.patreon.com/lunarblazestud…

As well as our Patreon I'm also as always available to work on Commissions for the community. A look through my gallery will show a history of Videogame fanart, pinups & all manner of commissioned work that I have been more than happy to provide for clients. You can find even more examples of the services I offer such as Logo Design & Title cards over at the Lunar Blaze website: www.ajahli.com/lunarblazestudi… My priorities have always and will always be to providing a helpful & high-quality service, feel free to ask any of my former customers for their own experiences.

Lastly, our Redbubble account has a wide variety of prints, bags, pins & other things featuring work both myself & Ajahli have produced. We are grateful to everyone who has bought something from us in the past as even though the percentage of return for each sale is low, the fact that so many people like our work enough to buy it mean's the world to us. We do our best to have each design work with the product's listed, rather than just throw any old crap up there, & so far we have heard nothing but good things from people who have used the service. You can check out our current collection here: www.redbubble.com/people/lunar…

Well, that's pretty much it for now, got a mountain of prints to organize for Anime Blues Con (table location to be announced) www.animeblues.com/ including The Print Debut of Heir's to the Throne Chapter 1! Very excited to see how this convention turns out & again, thanks to everyone for your support.

Holy crap. So yeah, I really don't write Journals that often do I? XD.
First of all, I'm now 100% legally married & living full time in America with my wife Ajahli. We had a fun time at FWA, enjoying some of the sights Georgia had to offer including the Coke Museum, & we had a nice quiet service for our wedding in a public park live streaming it to friends & family. Good times. Right now we are hard at work on gearing up for some conventions coming this July, Mephit & Anime Blues Con. We plan on having collections of our respective comics Heirs to the Throne & Grim Reaper School, as well as a ton of prints, pins, stickers & other bits and pieces. Real excited to have our first convention booth together, & I hope anyone in the area of the cons is able to join us. In the meantime as well as working on Chapter 2 of Heir's to the Throne, I have been hard at work on editing speed painting videos explaining how I work, and I'm in early production on a Halloween project that should be an interesting addition to the Lunar Blaze portfolio. If you want to see any of this content before anyone else, be sure to hit up our Patreon at: www.patreon.com/lunarblazestud…

Hey gang, hope everyone's doing well! So as you've heard by now Chapter 1 of my comic project Heirs to the Throne is now on sale for $1.99 at gumroad.com/l/QBpGJ This is something I've been dying to share with you for years now & to have reached this first waypoint in the project is all kinds of exciting for me. For those of you who are following the project you will be aware of how long I've been working on this idea, heck I pretty much started it back when I came up with Devillo as an online alias. Speaking of Dev its been great evolving him from just another online persona into his own character with his own story to share, & I truly hope your all enjoying it so far. The real work on this chapter began during July/August of last year, with a Halloween release date, since the chapter was completed early Feb we can assume that on average the next chapter will take around 6-8 months to complete. This is because not only do I work a full-time job through the day, but I also really wanted to push myself with the quality of art in this comic, & as a result the pages can take a Loooong time to come together. Still, I'm playing the long game here, & I hope the full length complete graphic novel when it's done by around 2020 is going to benefit from the work put in!

Today I'm off to my final Immigration Interview, as I'm in the process of moving to America from England to be with my longtime partner & Fiance Ajahli. She has been a huge motivator & Inspiration in my work & my life, & pretty much is the most important person in the world to me, so I'm naturally a little on edge today. If you have any feedback on the comic so far (the previous pages are available for free and will still be released for free online over a period of weeks), any suggestions or criticism don't hesitate to comment & get in touch so I can make the next 5 chapters even better. Also of course while I will always end up sharing my work with you for free, your support in any way, from clicking on the add's on the comic's website, dennisillustration.co.uk/main/ buying the comic to supporting both me & Ajahli on Patreon, www.patreon.com/lunarblazestud… to Buying our work on Redbubble www.redbubble.com/people/lunar… helps us keep creating, eventually making this a full time job, paves the way for projects that are going to blow this thing out of the water, & of course helps pay the insane cost we need to pay in order to be together. Thanks for your support so far, & thanks for everythign to come. You are all awesome people!

Hey kids, well as we all know F.A. has had a few... hiccups the past few weeks, & quite alot of people have been frustrated with the whole thing. I myself started to panic as for some pieces FA is the only place they exist, & if this go's I loose some of my older art for good. While it isnt my best work, Its nice to see what came before & continue to learn from it. So, heres an up to day list of my Regular, Furry & Hentai galleries for ya'all to enjoy!

devillo.deviantart.com/
My original gallery, not the busiest but pretty much everything go's there.

www.furaffinity.net/user/devil…
My FA gallery, which has been my main Anthro art home for about 9 years now.

inkbunny.net/DevilloDevianti
My new Inkbunny page. While alot of people take issue with some of the content this site allows it does have a pretty active community of viewers, & it never hurts to meet new people. Just be sure to block any tags you find distasteful.

www.weasyl.com/~devillo
Weasyl is an interesting site but frankly Ive never got much play out of it. Its certainly not the worst website out there, im just not getting much feedback one way or another right now, but if thats your poison of choice then feel free to hit me up there.

devillo.sofurry.com/
Yep a few people have linked to this place through the years but I never bothered until recently to properly pursue a gallery there. So far the comments I've received have been pretty awesome so thanks for that, hopefully this one continues to grow at the same rate as the others.

beta.furrynetwork.com/devillo/
Ah yes, Furry Network. Man this place has had alot of talk about it recently. Honestly as someone who was trained in design I gotta say their layout is pretty obtuse & tricky to understand but I'm willing to at least give them a chance, they do get points for letting me mass upload my ENTIRE gallery in one drag-drop. Of course entering all my info again for each piece is pretty time consuming but such is life.

Well thats all the galleries where you can find me, feel free to watch wherever, & if you'd like to see me be even more productive a couple of bucks to both mine & ajahli's patreon would be much appreciated! www.patreon.com/lunarblazestud…

So I finally took the time to catch up on the huge backlog of TV shows Ive been meaning to check out for the past few years, & one of them includes Bojack Horseman on Netflix. Im honestly surprised I'm not seeing much fanart of the show, aside from the obvious anthropomorphic animals things its a sharply written bit of cynical fun, taking a look at the hollow empty void that comes when people get what they want & have no idea what to do next. Honestly, I know that sounds pretentious (probably, I'm British afterall) but the show honestly took me surprise. While at first I thought the art style was a little bit sketchy/indy for my tastes Ive grown used to it pretty quickly & now I tend to care more about the characters & the fairly engaging story of a washed up actor trying to make himself feel relevant almost 30 years after he peaked.

Plus while Ive been working on my own project Heirs to the throne, I love how they have made subtle moments with the different anthropomorphic races doing things no human could or would do. Penguins running a publishing house & dogs always attacking Mail Men is one thing, but Having Pigeons outside a restaurant fly away at a loud noise after queuing outside for a table, having Dogs talk about how much they obsess over chocolate in the mall despite knowing it 'Literally' kills them, Maggots running funeral parlours, thats my kinda world building & something Im trying to add to my own world. For example, in Kindling (the City where Heirs takes place) all upstairs windows & doors on roofs are as heavy duty as ground floor ones due to birds & other flying creatures being a thing. Plus CSI teams usually consist of at least one Ape or Marsupial because they can get into much harder to reach areas than other races, etc etc. Anyways, I just wanted to drop by & say yes Im watching alot of TV recently, but its honestly all for research purposes & not because Im constantly awake at night in total dread that Im a complete failure as an artist & a creator. Honest!

(Again, trying to be funny & not really doing too bad atm, but apparently thats been coming off as a bit mean spirited to some folk recently. Maybe I need to not watch shows on cynical burned out individuals, but thing is, I love em too much)

Anyways, going to try & put my head down & get to work on the new Script for the comic, its been feeling like a year since I did any actual writing for the project & I would love to have an actual finished draft for at least the first issue by the end of the year. Times gonna tell on that one. Anyways kids, stay awesome & I will do my best to have something interesting for Y'all soon. (Thats a southern thing, because Im moving to Tennessee. Did you get it?)

Hey kids, just wanted to scrub that pretty negative journal off the feed. Things are way better now than what they were a few days back, a co worker was very kind to loan me enough cash for my weekly transport costs & since I have enough food back at my place Its no issue at all to bring a packed lunch into work, so yeah, this poor frail 31 year old survived 2 days with no access to money. Oh what a thrilling tale of endurance against overwhelming odds!

Yeah... I really need to get over myself at times. Any darn way, GOOD THINGS! One of my regular clients from the past few years has been working on another Youtube series involving Onepiece so Ive been doing a few illustrations based on those characters, (link here zenithwillrule.tumblr.com/post… ) also had a character sheet over www.furaffinity.net/view/17717… & I also have a few Title Cards for other Youtubers in the works. Of course this means Inktober & regular postings of the Heirs to the Throne concept art is on hiatus, because money is ALWAYS going to come first considering just how much of a buffer Im going to need for my move to America sometime next year.

So yeah, I should be posting any non Fur art over on my much more interesting Fur Affinity page at www.furaffinity.net/user/devil… You can find most of my NSFW Fur stuff there so to get the full experience you really should follow both. As always I am more than happy to take on commission work, I hope you will all agree I try to keep my prices as competitive & at as high as quality as possible . You ever want to hit me up for anything then its my absolute pleasure to be of service.

Lol, so the past few weeks have been, well not awesome by and large. While I have had some good things go down, namely a few very welcome commissions from some old clients, Ive had all kinds of drama & bullshit to deal with. My best friend lost her Father way too early to cancer recently, & in between the funeral & taking time to see her Ive been having more & more stressful bullshit with my home life. I don't like to discuss the super personal stuff but lets just say Im actually leaving this country for a variety of reasons. The best thing however happened today, my damn bank card got snapped in two, by my own dumbass no less, so now I need to panic trying to find a way to make about £4/£5 last around 3-5 working days to cover my travel & food costs. So yeah, did want to write a journal saying how awesome all the people who have commissioned me recently are (btw, you really really are) but yeah, kinda having a mini breakdown or more likely a petty Man-Period. IDK, times going to tell. Gotta laugh at the fact that Im actually surviving in terms of cash input, its just ironically IMPOSSIBLE to access said cash. Life, life sure is a funny old thing ain't it?

Anyway, I have at least SOMEthing I can translate into lunch/breakfast tomorrow so as long as I can cover transport to work I should be ok. btw Im not begging for donations etc as I have no way of accessing em anyway, lol. Id like to end on something funny, so here we go:

Hey guys, first of all I wanted to say thanks to all the new watchers who have recently stumbled across my gallery. Welcome, hope you enjoy what you see here in the next few weeks. Since theres so many new folk I wanted to bring everyone up to speed on what exactly Im working on right now. Both my partner Ajahli & I run a small studio called Lunar Blaze, its basically an umbrella name for all our disparate individual projects.

One of our main focuses right now is the production of an art/concept book featuring characters of mine from a story we are working on called Heirs to the Throne. While we are still working on that main story, the focus right now is on the concept art, & releasing a book collecting not only our work but that of other artists. Everything is still in the earl;y phases but so far the results have been very promising, & we are doing our best to keep things moving & updated on a regular basis despite us both working full time jobs and currently living in different countries.

To describe the theme & mood of the book, imagine a Black Comedy noir with Furrys. Thats Heirs to the Throne in a nutshell. Set in the fictional region of Kindling, follow the exploits of Devillo Devianti, disgraced heir to the Devianti fortune as he deals with raving relatives, corrupt cops & the very worst that Kindling has to offer. The book will exist as an introduction to the world, the characters, & hopefully be instrumental in building hype & interest in the main story.

We do have a Patreon where people who want to support our work can toss a bit of spare change our way every month. As a thank you we post anything & everything we do there on average a week before it go's live anywhere else. The Patreon not only covers finished & wip paintings & sketches, but also location design, plot hints & at higher tiers even has money off on commissions from either of us. The more we get, the more we can ease back on the day jobs & focus on creating art for you guys! Plus since Im in the process of moving to America from England to be with Ajahli thats obviously some MAJOR expenses, so for real, EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS. www.patreon.com/lunarblazestud…

Thats pretty much everything you need to know for now, any specific questions/suggestions are Always welcome. Thanks again for watching & I honestly hope you enjoy what you see!

Hey guys, sorry I've not posted much the past few days, basically despite living in different countries both me & Ajahli got hit by major Flu bugs & as a result our productivity turned to shit! Anyway, I'm slowly clawing my way back up in terms of productivity now I can actually sit at the computer without wanting to die (sad violin's play), & I really want to get back to work.

During the past week I sadly had to take a few days off & ended up loosing a good chunk of much needed cash, so in order to not panic over where my next cup of British Tea is coming from I wanted to get a few commissions done for you lovely kids before I get back to work on the concept art for Kindling (check out our Patreon listed in the header for more details, along with the prices).
