my fair ladi

a ladibug discovered while my husband and i were picking wild blackberries today.

my family collects ladibugs (as in my mother, my grandmother, my aunt, my cousin and me) because my grandfather always had them coming into the back den from the backyard and never killed them of course- always gently took them outside. when he passed away and one was found in my grandmother's kitchen she said to it "are you my husband"? so yeah - ladibugs reminds us of PaPa and us gentle ways and there you go

and wow - its tough to get a freakin' macro of a ladibug - they move and you have to be still and get soooooooooo close - so yeah!!
