I like the sparkling snow, the flow of the bokeh in the background and how the grass breaks through this all. The color version with its blue and pink pastels gives the image a whole new direction; i presume for what you want to express with it, the b/ w version suits it much better. The title fits it therefore very well. I like the colorversion too, but it's a different image. You composed the scene in a very eye pleasing way and as much as i like it i find the background in the left corner a bit chaotic and distracting in tones. The image is very clean overall and you have this wonderful wave in the foreground and the line from left to right upper corner in the middle; speaking of this i would prefer to have the upper left in even dark grey tones, which are already there but broken up by the whites. It would be a nice completion of the framing and would compliment the pattern repetion of lines in my eyes.
