CHAPTER 3
Shadow removed his helmet, taking a deep breath, before looking to Red. He saw him just staring at the sky above, even though smoke from the result of the war consumed the sky. He still looked at the stars as if they were visible.
They shared a moment in silence, patting him on the back, then Shadow decided to leave him alone and walked away. There were many things to do to finish making camp.
Liquid followed Shadow as they walked by, while many of their soldiers sat down and started removing their helmets. Most struck up a conversation while they prepared a fire, and the rest cooked to rest up for the next day.
The soldiers all looked to Shadow and began asking questions.
“Shadow, do you three even know your limits? Because on the battlefield it seems like you don’t,” asked a soldier from Liquids Legion.
