Hey hey, I am still here, lurking, trying to work harder and not slack off >,<
Just thought I would replace that old "moved house" journal.
Cause that's old news lol. Anyway, I'm pretty settled into the house that I've moved into, getting a little more exercise due to the fact that I live twenty minutes away from my work now. Although I do occasionally get a lift on the weekend. Thanks to an older worker at my workplace.
I don't think I have ever explained how much I work, so I'll do a break down.
Every weekday, except Tuesday, I work nights. Then on the weekend I work from 10AM-9PM with a 2-3 hour break.
On my break I usually try to read, but I need to stay at the store because I am a supervisor to the other girls that work the weekend and am expected to be there for any emergencies that show up or to help keep an eye on the store.
The store I work in is a fish and chip shop. It's one of the biggest in my hometown I am sure. We have a huge menu and are able to serve people who are siliac and require gluten free. We have people not jst from bendigo but fromm all over who come for our food and get excited. Especially when we tell them they can have a burger, a souvlaki/kebab/wrap(I don't know what each person out there calls them) or even a dimsim!
It's actually the most happiest rewarding part of my job. I've got the whole menu memorised at this point. But when I list the massive gluten free menu to a siliac customer and I see their faces light up with joy it really makes me glad and proud of where I work
So now you know my job and why I am always saying that I am working. Because I am haha. Then of course I need to maintain a clean home and cook and then I love my games and movies and tv shows and in the end squishing everything in is crazy
But I wasn't lying when I said that the desk would help productivity. It already really has. I feel very good when I am at my desk and doing work. Far better than being on he couch or anything. Stuff is finally starting to line up. And even though work is crazy I am very excited to keep motivating myself to meet my goals.
I am drawing more, being more active, reading more at last. The only thing on my goals list that I need to meet now is to finally get back into writing again!
Being more active on deviantart is helping me a lot. To just re-familiarise myself with the keyboard again. so that I can type more naturally and keep up with my thoughts.
And of course by writing this journal is just another positive step toward that goal.
I am practically set up in my house now. I just need a wardrobe so I can unpack my clothes. But the one I bought is still being shipped. So I need to wait another week or two for that to arrive.
And then I have my partners birthday on Aug 17 then a couple days after that we have our first house inspection. And we plan to ask to have a dog. Which I am nervous about. But also excited. It is a dog that my partner has known since she was a puppy. She's two years old and I have met her. She is a happy and pretty obediant dog from what I can tell.
Active as heck and so adorable, her name is Piper. If we get a dog approved I will take photos and you can see her <3
I think that is about it for a life update for now.
Thanks for reading if you did.
hehe, I win even if no one reads this because TYPING! Woo. I feel like this has been prettttty good practice.
