My favourite question about Japan
And it's about why video games ask about your blood type - I once became curious about what blood type particular cartoon characters have some time ago.

My favourite question about China
And it's about why people copy things, which Alicia asked this question after seeing a raid on a store selling fake toys which included My Little Pony during their visit to China.

SpongeBob BumpbowPants
For the one with a new arrival on the way who is (or has) a SpongeBob fan (there's a little bit of SpongeBob in everyone).

Allen Powers KidsHealth ad
This is a (good) icky question which is no longer on the KidsHealth website and Allen took samples from kids and adults as part of his science assignment.

Today, Vodafone has completed their closure of the last remaining commercial GSM (2G) network in Australia, which GSM networks opened in Australia in 1993 and makes Australia the second country behind Singapore to shut down all commercial GSM networks.
Unlike Telstra and Optus who put out a cell broadcast message advising when the 2G network will close, Vodafone did not in my experience (apparently there were no users on a 2G plan on this network at the time I checked (even a day from closure) considering the closure of this 2G network was delayed by over six months), although Telstra (and most likely Optus and Vodafone) sent text messages to all customers still on 2G plans and in the case of Telstra, a free entry-level 3G phone was offered since many customers on a 2G plan had basic 2G handsets.
For 2G/3G/4G networks (all digital), I consider a network generation becoming mainstream in a particular country when services on lower frequency bands are introduced (typically within 3-4 years); 2G immediately became mainstream in many countries which established services on the lower (900 MHz for GSM, 850 MHz for cdmaOne and later CDMA2000) band; the United States was one of the countries which was particularly slow for 2G GSM (and 3G UMTS) networks to become mainstream since the 850 MHz band was once dominated by analog services, but this country was fairly quick for 4G networks to become mainstream since 700 MHz spectrum was freed up when TV stations vacated this band; also in a number of European countries, 4G services immediately became mainstream since 800 MHz spectrum was freed up when TV stations vacated this band.
Telstra was notably quick to make 3G (UMTS) mainstream a year after opening this type of network in 2005 because it wanted to phase out its existing CDMA2000 network in favour of UMTS (in less than two years); I've had word that Telstra could be shutting down their 3G network as early as 2020 with no word from Optus or Vodafone Australia on when their 3G networks will close (it would be most likely around the time when they open their 5G networks).
For 1G, there were many as nine standards with a number of incompatible variants (none really dominated the world, but AMPS only dominated the Americas), 2G had one fewer standard where GSM dominated with 3G having one fewer standard again where UMTS dominated, 4G had as few as two standards where LTE dominated while there could be only one standard for 5G, which I predict will be LTE.
One final note: Even though GSM has been used in almost every country (saying again, this 2G mobile network technology dominated the world), there are two notable exceptions: Japan, who had their own 2G standard being Personal Digital Cellular (now phased out), and South Korea who used cdmaOne and upgraded to CDMA2000 later on.

I can’t help but think some freak like you was separated at birth from Christian Weston Chandler.
I hope you know who that is, and if not, you might find yourself looking at your evil twin when searching him up.
