Glaciers laced the landscape, stretching for miles along the mountain-side. Frozen rivers scattered across the forest floor, winding down the steep slopes. Trees filled with snow covered branches filled the view from every angle. Brisk air was crisp and sharp, a stinging sensation pricking Aleu's nose. Dawn light filtered through the sky, emanating a faint heat that diminished some of the icy chill in the atmosphere. Four wolf pups cried in unison as the wind began to blow, ruffling their fur.
