i can say i feel happy, proud and honored
happy that i finished it, of course
but proud and honored, that i had the chance to build it

with this model i finished my first collaboration with an other dA member

ok, i know you all wanna download as fast as possible the model sheets, but i write this anyway, because it means a lot to me.

in the center of 2010 i started to ask some 3d artists about their models and if they would share it for a papercraft project.

i recieved a lot rejections but Griphinator was the first who agreed and send me the mesh of his Spidertank


so give him a big hand too

well, i had a lot of problems in the last part of the year and it took a bit longer, more that i expected
but finally
i...... we can bring you this

and i guess, not even Griph expected that rotating system of the top

But this model has also another important background for me
not only it's a very cool mecha design and a reference for upcoming collaborations
i hope it's a wakeup call for other 3d artists, that there are freaks out there with a lot of skill, who would love to take your visions into reality

ok, but now to the model
with downloading this file, you get three pdo's

one with folding lines and texture (lined)
one with folding lines but without texture (white label)
and one without folding lines but with texture (lineless)

so you need as always the Pepakura Viewer which you can download here

the lineless version is hard, specialy when you reduce the objectivity of the cut lines

i printed the sheets with 20% objectivity and it was not easy

the pdo's are not protected, so you can still change the size with the Pepakura Desinger

because it's an OC of Griph you will NOT get texture this time

the model comes on 12 pages with 68 pieces
