Fallen Horde

Description

As humanity entered the period of time known as the Golden Age vast technological advancements where made and soon mankind laid claim to the worlds of their system. For a time humanity prospered and thanks to Light Energy made tremendous advancements in only a few short years. Yet this age did not last as a threat from beyond their system would make itself known.

The Fallen, a nomadic space fairing species, had tracked the Traveler to Sol and sought to claim the machine as their own. No warning was given and their fleet stormed into the system igniting a conflict called the Sol War. The Fallen horde was made up of several houses which had come together to form one united force against humanity. Led by the Kel of the house of Devils the horde began a brutal campaign across the face of earth putting many settlements to the torch and sieging the walls of the Nation Cities even successfully sacking the Nation City of New London. The remaining Nation Cities would come together and focus on the war effort creating new forms of tech to no only combat the fallen horde but also to engage the other threats that had followed the nomadic aliens to Sol such as the Vex fleet and the Cabal armada.

Force into more drastic measures the Luminous institute, the central scientific force that had spearheaded the Golden Age, began a project that would see humans infused with the Light Energy produced by the Traveler. Code named Guardian the Luminous Institute would create the first generation of Guardians to fight in the Sol War.

The fallen horde would see renewed strength return to the human defenders and successfully push the horde back into the northern wilds of old Russia but despite this renewed push humanity was still locked into an uphill battle.

During this conflict a man made plague would get loose and create a crisis that nearly destroyed both human and fallen alike. Known as the Siva plague the virus would sweep across Russia infected both species in equal measure creating bio mechanical horrors in its wake. One of the newly forged Guardian units, the Iron Lords, would join forces with a fallen faction that wished to end the conflict peacefully. Together the joint force would successfully end the plague at its heart but not without a significant cost of life.

With the bulk of their numbers lost to the plague the fallen horde united in one final desperate attack against New Horizon itself and take the Traveler by force. Led by the Devil Kel the battle would be known as Twilight Gap and would see the fallen horde broken thanks largely to the effort of the Guardian defenders and the timely actions of the first Exo Guardian Saint-14.

With the death of the Devil Kel the horde would be broken and fall apart in the wake of the houses trying to regain control allowing humanity to put an end to the fallen conflict on earth and focus on the larger conflict out in space.

Many fallen have tried to rebuild the horde since the end of the Sol war but none have come close to this. Most modern fallen enjoy the prosperity of house Light within New Horizon or with the house of Exiles within the basin of the Iron lords mountain.

Realistically we don't just lay Flat like that in this portrayal here, Lore-wise. [Narrowed eyes looking at those 2 fellofs that have Temporarily only died for now close to that Fallen and that Fallen walker]
