A pirate ship flying the Jolly Roger sails on calm seas towards the setting sun.

Though I mostly make artwork depicting natural subjects, occasionally, I still find myself in the mood to make maritime image.  This particular image was mostly about creating a nice sky. To create this image, I used digital art techniques including 3D rendering (a type of CGI) as well as a bit of hand painting in GIMP.
