To challenge myself, I decided to take one of my old popular piece and make a new artwork using what I've learned since. This old piece is: designspartan.deviantart.com#/…

This is a 100% digital painting, no photomanipulation or reference were used. I just textured the painting a bit with photos at the very end. You can see that the subject and color scheme are still the same.

I think I rather improved but it's up to you to tell me! I hope you like it! ;)
