The DNMT are currently on hiatus. We're hoping to come back soon in full force! --------------------------------------------------------- What is a Monthly Theme and how does it work? A Monthly Theme is something we announce at the beginning of each month, according to which you can come up with a design/illustration/photograph to submit to our designersnexus.deviantart.com/… (DesignersNexus Monthly Themes folder). One outstanding submission will be selected at the end of each month to be the main Feature on our homepage throughout the following month. Additional prizes may be included and may vary from month to month. Rules & Regulations for participating: Please submit your entries to the designersnexus.deviantart.com/… (DesignersNexus Monthly Themes Folder). Only deviations that 1) adhere to the current theme and 2) are submitted before the deadline will be accepted. Only one themed entry per member per month is allowed. Unless stated otherwise in the theme announcement, variations on a theme may not be included in the same deviation. Please include DNMT[name of month] (eg. DNMTMay) in the names of your themed submissions. This is to clarify the distinction between themes from different months, as all will be placed in the same folder. DN administrators are allowed to participate, but only unofficially. Their entries go into the one of the Admin Gallery folders and do not qualify for the member feature. If you want to suggest a theme, feel free to note me at: Rallya Monthly Themes challenges are not compulsory --- you don't have to participate if you don't want to. In the meantime you can still submit works to the other folders throughout the month. |

I Challenge You: 2019 EditionDear all,
The veterans among you may remember a huge challenge competition I first launched back in 2015 called "I Challenge You". The first time around, the premise was that deviants were paired up and would give each other a challenge to be completed within a deadline, for a chance to win a prize as a duo or trio. The second time around, each participant was assigned a Community Volunteer who would give them a challenge to be completed.
If you're curious, you can go look at the old journals here and here. The second edition blew up almost immediately, if I recall we had around 300-400 sign-ups. Well, it's been years and it's time to bring back this challenge game again! I'll try to make it happen once per year, hence why this is "2019 Edition"
