ANIMATION : Party Legends - Deer Hallucination

This is a shot I animated from Viceland's Party Legends : Season 2 - Instinct is Automatic.

I had complete creative control over this shot, other than the instructions:  "The deer turned into a plastic army man."  This was absolutely the most challenging shot I had, but also the most gratifying.  

I thought it would be neat to have the deer's antlers turn into the gun, since they're both technically weapons.

And yes, the deer is totally a parody of Bambi, which was the director's intention.  You can see the neat composited shot on my demo reel which is on my website.
