Mario Story Fruit Shake battle concept v2 by DerekminyA Mario Story Fruit Shake battle concept v2 by DerekminyA
Version 2 of the battle concept art submitted earlier for an upcoming Paper Mario fangame topic.

CHANGES FROM THE PREVIOUS VERSION
+ Old Boom Boom and Pom Pom models replaced with newer ones.
+ HP visual style for enemies singled out to just numbers.
+ Darkness on character models lessened.
+ Extra texture added to guard railing.
+ Visual style of clouds and sun changed from "eighth-gen shoebox" to "The Thousand Year Door storybook". TTYD back winds also added.

Needless to say, any further revisions of this image will not be posted as separate deviations. Instead, this one will be tweaked and archived.

Hmm hmm, looks certainly better than the previous version.

Using how much shading is important to know if there are anything above, as well as giving impression to the (real) audience.

Speaking of audience, had you plan to bring them back? The audience of my fan game is not visible in beta without scrolling/turning with the right control stick (assuming the controller is the Evo-Gem main controller, which is like the Switch's but no JoyPad, but extra buttons (M and N buttons) as well as controller and screen able to flipping through horizontal and vertical during gameplay like the Bandai WonderSwan, an obscure, portable console.)

EDIT: Sorry for previously incomplete comment, but I pressed on Submit Comment by accident with my mobile. :\

According to the main file, there are plans for the audience to come back for Fruit Shake, due to "all the world's a stage" being an important motif for the story.

From what I've typed so far in the main file regarding it... "The audience returns. This time, when the Fruit Tempo meter fills up, the audience becomes fired up, increasing the Fruit earned by a certain amount per and depending on member. The audience cap increases by 5 every level-up."

This is subject to change, though. Some more fine-tuning might be required.
