General Guy (Paper Mario 64) by DerekminyA General Guy (Paper Mario 64) by DerekminyA
High definition sprites for General Guy, a Shy Guy boss character from Paper Mario 64. This is sort of a recreation of an older spritesheet. However, since the N64 General Guy didn't have mirrored sprites despite his badge, I decided to forgo them this one time.

Mario and his partners, including new ally Lady Bow, return to Toad Town with Skolar. As soon as they arrive, they can't help but notice the extremely minor detail of a full-on Shy Guy invasion. Using their wits, minds, and Lady Bow's invisibility, Mario and friends track the Shy Guys down to a magic toy box world hidden in Toad Town.

After going to and fro Shy Guy's Toy Box and find Watt the L'il Spark to light up the situation, Mario and friends eventually meet up with General Guy. Though General Guy is irritated, he makes his feelings on Mario's intrusion known in the most controlled, yet aggressive way possible. He then proceeds to send wave after wave of Shy Guys in various formations to battle the plumber pack.

When that doesn't work, General Guy takes things into his own hands with a lightbulb-equipped tank. In addition to the tank's blinding radiance, General Guy throws bombs at the crew. Not standing for it themselves, Mario and crew take the toy tank apart, piece by screw by wheel. With that, General Guy flees, leaving the Star Spirit Muskular behind.

Since then, General Guy has only appeared as a legacy sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii.

In the DMZ fangame topic timeline, General Guy returns in the recut of Color Splash. He's unexpectedly summoned by Bowser Jr. to one of the Koopalings' current bases. He's left in charge of a prototype of Ludwig's powerful battleship (though Ludwig still keeps his submarine for later). Eventually, while the Musketeers fight the base's other personal, Mario and friends arrive in the base's docking bay. Recognizing his foe, General Guy not only unleashes the battleship, but also an old favorite.
