Fruit Cap types (Mario Story Fruit Shake) by DerekminyA Fruit Cap types (Mario Story Fruit Shake) by DerekminyA
In the upcoming Paper Mario fangame topic of the same name, Mario needs to use bottle caps known as Fruit Caps. (…wai-wai-WAIT! Where’re you going?!)

+Mario can equip up to 30 extra Fruit Caps in battle, alongside 6 Basic ones. The rest go into a Cap Chest to sort through. The Cap Chest can store up to 255 Fruit Caps.
+If Mario uses all of his equipped Fruit Caps in battle, he must use the Wait command to restore his caps. Doing this, however, reduces the number of moves his side gets next turn.
++1 WAIT: 1 less move
++2 WAITS: 2 less moves
++3 OR MORE WAITS: Mario’s side must skip their moves next turn
+Fruit Caps come in many variants.

NORMAL (blue): The normal variety. Mario can only buy these from the Fruit Cap store in Frutta Citta.
SUPER (yellow): Twice as strong as Normal Fruit Caps. Mario can only buy these from the Fruit Cap store in Frutta Citta.
MEGA (red): Quadruple the strength of Normal Fruit Caps. Mario can only buy these from the Fruit Cap store in Frutta Citta.
BRONZE: Weaker versions of all but the Basic and below types (about ¾ the damage). Mario can only find these in the overworld. Using them once prevents them from being stored in the Cap Chest, while a second use destroys them.
AMIIBO: Stronger versions of select Normal and Super Fruit Caps (about x1.3 the power). Mario must scan certain amiibo to obtain these. Using them once prevents them from being stored in the Cap Chest, while a fourth use destroys them. More about how amiibo would be useable will be discussed later.
BASIC: Mario starts the game with 6 of these- 3 Jump, and 3 Hammer. They’re half as strong as Normal Fruit Caps.
