woooow this is soo fxckin cool! :O
its an acee effect, im thinkin of maybe trying sommin like this on bonfire night but not sure if my camera would do this kinda thing, any tips?

All you need is a tripod to keep the camera still, a long exposure, long enough to write whatever you feel like, and I used a sparkler for this but basically anything that emits light will leave a trail on long exposure

Very cool. Great compositional counterpoint, having the light of the moon offset the lightpainting.

Thanks! Feel free to become a watcher if you would like to keep updated with my new work as well :)

Okey Dokey. You're light painting reminded me of this artist [link]

I do see the resemblance! though all of his work tends to be a tad red for my liking it is quite nice :)

He's a film shooter type of guy. Film tends to let the red come through, that and using road flares.
Glad you stopped over there to look.

Wow! Interesting effect.

Thanks! This actually turned out much nicer than I anticipated. At this point of the night I was more or less just playing with the left over sparklers, but it did make a great photo :)

Very awesome. I love the detail of the sparks. I think you could totally just have the person cropped into a nice square shot if you wanted and it would look great on its own. The moon concept is neat though, super bright from the exposure.

Thank you! And I did toy with cropping her into her own square, but I felt the moon just added something extra to the photo and it just looked a little nicer that way. It also kept the right half of the photo weighted properly. Thanks for the critique!
