airplane by imignacio

This is probably not important to the vast majority of you, but my patron/manager and web developer extraordinaire is flying overhead as I type this. He and his wild and wonderful wife, Gisela, are flying into New York, ready to start a working vacation and mini world tour.

His home is in Australia, so that puts Beau and I in the same time zone for the first time since meeting here on dA four months ago. Hell, we often weren't even IMing each other on the same day!

We'll be getting together IN PERSON (hard to imagine) at the end of this month in High Point, NC (Gisela's hometown) to discuss the next steps in the jon.com marketing plan. And of course drink and kick back in the sun a little.

If you haven't seen the web site yet, please do. What he created is nothing short of amazing. And he was so much fun to brainstorm with. The results are there for all to enjoy.

Okay, the shameless brown-nosing is over. Now quick! Look up and wave.

I think so too, but that isn't what he would say. They should be tucked away in bed in a nice NY hotel right now. Sweet dreams, guys!

Better hurry, he's heading back upstairs at a full-out run. See latest section for the gory details.

We're back out on the streets in 3 minutes. We have zeroed in on the area. There was an old Jag cruising slowly by, making a us little uneasy...

BTW, there is a REAL Allerton Hotel on West 22nd Street -- just in case you have any film left.

Getting through customs, security and immigration in 3 minutes, means we fit the profile of 'boring' - Special people get to stay and strip and talk to nice people in uniformas for a very long time.

Obviously, they don't know you. Boring is not the word that comes to mind. :giggle:

Actually, I am prescribed as a cure for insomnia.
People only have a tiny dose of me, and they start yawning.

I could also bring about world peace, by simply opening my mouth, and having armies just nod off.

Boring has its advantages...

::laughs::He said I could house sit for him! If ONLY that were possible. Of course, he might have a hard time getting me out!

Give him a hug for me when you see him. I love his sense of humour! Not to mention I have an immense admiration for his talent!

I'll come help! We'll lock the doors and sit back to enjoy the ocean views.

I'll be happy to add your hug to mine. He's a remarkable guy and an incredible talent. I suspect I won't want to return home after our week-long planning session.

I guess this means that you arent going to come and visit - :sulks:

I'll be in the way of lots of people over the next 6 months...
We travel a bit, so we might end up anywhere...

Keep your head down.
