En esta etapa fue cuando se conocieron aunque no se hicieron amigos al solo verse si no que esos pocos dias que estubo Mauricio en el pueblo donde vivia Sara, antes de que el se fuera a su pueblo de origen le regalo una orquidea blanca para recordarlo que simboliza su amistad.

En esta etapa cambio su vida para ambos que surgiria una tragedia, Sara perderia su respeto por el pueblo e incluso por su familia por algo que cometio por brujeria, y con Mauricio fue peor ya que como vivia con su madre, abuela y una persona especial llamada Amaya ya que ocurrio un incendio en su pueblo que intento salva a su familia aunque le costo un ojo.
