So, this one I did a new thing. well multiple. For one I tried making a more medieval sword that, if it was real, could actually be wielded. The other thing is..well the mesh is actually low poly, I baked my own custom normals for the first time! this is what is making the mesh look more detailed than it actually is. Its a great method for reducing PC lag and render time.
I tweaked the Damascus steel of the blade to try and make it look a bit better, think it came out well. Thoughts? Questions? Ask!
So yea a black hole. I wanted to have some creative name or whatever, maybe add the Earth in a scene? I dunno, just wish my PC was strong enough for that XD I did a few other renders, but this is my favorite.
Decided to try something different, instead of a fantasy blade that would not work in real life I tried a blade that would. I've yet to add a cross guard and hilt but I'll get to it! The idea came from my recent studies of sword making and Damascus steel is among my favorite looks on a blade.
Im trying to think of a way to apply other methods I have learned to my swords. Hope you enjoy!
