Killing time inbetween creative stages, a very quick Spike portrait just because I can, because I like him and I'm happily watching Season 7 of Buffy on DVD because it was RIDICULOUSLY cheap, I mean seriously, they were selling it for 70% less than anywhere else.

How could I not buy it?

Buffy, Buffy, Buffy, BUFFY! One of those funny words, that when you say it over and over again it loses its meaning and just becomes an odd sound, but... a sound that inspires a strange happiness.

Has anyone else every done that with words, just said them over and over until they don't work anymore? Or am I just mad... H'mmm.

Try it with "wardrobe", that always works really well for me but it becomes a sinister, hollow noise filled with malicious dark space and possibly clowns.
Bastards.

So yes, I digress.

Spike (James Marsters) from "Buffy The Vampire Slayer". I hate his hair, I had no idea how difficult it would be to paint, if I'd have known I wouldn't have ever started this piece.

And for any Buffy fans looking to buy the series... The new Collector's Edition Boxset has just been released, every season, all the special features in just ONE box. And it contains a letter from Joss Whedon as well. Gosh.
I know it's available in the UK but I'm not sure if it's been released elsewhere yet so check the Fox website for details and if you're considering buying.... go through one of those price search engines to get the best deal.
