Portland is, in fact, nicer than any other city right now. Everything people claim about it being destroyed by rioters is an outright lie, I am literally posting from it right now.
Every city in America has an influx of homelessness and poverty for a wide variety of reasons, none of them specifically right wing or left wing reasons, but overall it's the right wing that just demonizes the poor and tries to hurt them more rather than do anything about the underlying causes.
