The Giant Claw :MAKEOVER:

If any of you guys have a decent knowledge of monster movies, or strange movies in general, you might possibly know of "The Giant Claw", a b-monster movie created in the 50's.

If you don't know about the Giant Claw, it's a monster movie about a giant bird that is "like a flying battleship!"

......... I don't know either. Of course, when I think of a flying bird, the first thing I think of is a battleship.

The acting is okay, but the whole story and explanation of the bird is ridiculous. But, if you want to see something more ridiculous than the story of the bird, is the bird itself. Look at the links.

I'm not kidding, that IS the Giant Claw. How such a bad looking monster could come into existence while not being a comedic movie absolutely befuddles me. So, in all respects, I had the urge to redesign the monster(atleast the head and face), to help me recooperate. XD I really wish the movie gets a remake. Honestly, a b-movie by today's standards would probably have a better looking Giant Claw.

If there was a remake, this is my design of the monster. I'm really proud of the rocks and the feathers, since I don't draw them all that often. Drawn in blue ink ballpoint pen on simple inexpensive sketch paper. I made a contrast fix on it in Photoshop, and darkened some areas for detail reasons.
