Greetings my little implings!

So since the next SSides is currently in the filming process. ( based on an insta story of someone posting Thomas’s tweet about it ) I thought it would be fun to bring back an old fanon concept, Dark!Roman. Now for those who don’t know Dark!Roman was a concept created by the fandom not to long after CTM came out. The origin of this concept stemmed from the idea of Roman becoming a dark side n’ becoming a villain. W/ most even naming this dark version of Roman “Pride”, hence the alternative name.

However for at some point, I took this concept n’ added my own little spin on to it. In fact I made 2 post talking about it. But to sum it up, I first started by giving Roman this shadowy figure that was created by him, that’s meant to be a manifestation of all his insecurities. This entity goes by the name of Insecurity as that’s what he’s the manifestation of, n’ he essentially taunts Roman whenever he can in order to become more powerful. W/ his main goal being to make Roman succumb to the darkness resulting in Roman transforming into his new villain persona Namor.

Essentially the biggest shift here is simply how Roman becomes his villain self. Instead of the dark sides convincing him to become a villain, he instead does that on his own accord. Oh also, Insecurity can only be seen by Roman n’ nobody else, as he is exclusively Roman’s creation. But yeah I really wanted to do a digital colored version of this for some time now, n’ I’m excited for what the next episode has in store.
