Miraculous Rena Rouge redesign

Greetings my little Implings!

Alrighty here we go! Part 2 of my miraculous redesign. This time we’re doing Rena Rouge n’ Carapace.

So first let’s start w/ Rena. Rena Rouge, who’s real name is Alya Césaire, is the best friend of Marinette, who’s a big fan of ladybug n’ has a blog dedicated to finding out ladybug’s identity called “the ladyblog”. She’s also the user of the fox miraculous which grants the power of illusion, w/ the weapon being a flute…no I’m not sh*tting w/ her weapon is literally a woodwind instrument, but we’ll discuss about that later. But for now, let’s talk about the redesign, now because she’s has a fox miraculous, I thought it only made sense to make her outfit look like a trickster-like thief, which are known to be common characteristics given to a fox. I mean for crying out loud the kwami for the fox miraculous is literally named Trixx you can’t make this sh*t up. Also while looking back on the design it now reminds me of the default thief outfit from Miitopia, which I personally veiw it as a mission accomplished if I’m gonna be honest. Fun fact I actually even have the game on my 3ds. Also I tried to make her mask look like not only a bandit mask but a visor as well, because she wears glasses in the show n’ like last time I made her eye color the same as the kwami which is purple. Now for her weapon, like I said her original weapon is a flute, reason being is that her power is mirage which can create any illusion she thinks of by simply playing said flute, however let’s be honest a woodwind instrument ain’t gonna do sh*t on the battle field so I’ve decided to change that. Her weapon is now a bat w/ small purple smoke bombs, which of course is inspired on the artist @pink.cherry.pills on insta, because I feel like it really captures the sneaky trickster vibe for someone wearing a fox themed miraculous. Also for the bombs, her bombs originally are small purple smoke bombs, for sneak attack reasons, n’ when she uses her mirage the purple bomb expands a bit into a bigger bomb as well as changing the colors into a more fox themed bomb. Finally for her hair design, I kept the original ponytail style but decided to give her 9 tail like ends in reference to the kitsune, which is a 9 tail fox, w/ 2 on the front n’ 7 I’m the back
