Greetings my little Implings!
Here’s the third installment of my MLB SSides crossover. This time we have Logan w/ the bunny n’ Virgil w/ the butterfly.
Now out of all the sides, these 2 were the most difficult to pick in terms of miraculous, because I wanted to keep this trend of having the miraculous being based on the side’s personality n’ characteristics. So y’all could imagine my struggle I want through when choosing, n’ don’t get me started when it came to decided the hero names.
For Logan the reason why I chose the bunny was because it gives the user the power to time travel. Now I was gonna do the snake one, however when thinking about it I feel like it wouldn’t fit Logan’s personality. Ya see the snake allows one to go back in time to a specific point, that being when the power is activated, this allows the user to correct any mistakes they have in battle. So that they can get the upper hand on their opponent. However I just don’t see Logan using that power, because I believe he would already be ahead n’ would factor every possible outcome within a battle, he is logic after all. So I’ve decided to go w/ the bunny because not only does it work w/ Logan’s character, n’ that I believe he would be the most responsible when using the bunny miraculous due to ya know…time stuff. But it’s also a fun little reference to Doctor Who, a show that Logan likes, as well as science fiction in general. Now the name was the most difficult to come up w/ because I wanted to make his name sound “scientific” if that makes sense. But then I thought about the idea of Patton n’ or Roman coming up w/ his name since I believe Logan wouldn’t be interested in giving himself a hero name, so I went w/ “Time Hopper”. A name that not only reflects his powers, but also a cute pun based on his animal.
Now Virgil oof, he was the most difficult. It was really difficult to pick “the perfect” miraculous for him, since non of them reflected his character or side trait in the way I see fit. But then when looking further into it, I feel like the butterfly is the miraculous that suits him best. Because the butterfly grants users the power of “Transmission”, which allows the user to sense strong emotions n’ create these butterfly creatures called “akumas”. Which then go to said person w/ strong emotions n’ possesses an object that the person has which then grants said person their own superpowers. Now the reason why I chose the butterfly is not only because of the color, but because of what it represents. The butterfly in general represents transformation, which is what the power is based on. N’ I believe that fits w/ Virgil’s character in regards to his character development, because he started off as the main antagonist of the series n’ then he developed n’ got an acceptance arc. N’ it’s one of the most significant part of his character, which is why I overall picked the butterfly. Also his name Dark Wing because well…it’s edgy ya know.
