Backstory:

KAI was an average soldier in the empire. She went to the same Irken Training planet, Devastis (but never had any interactions w/ ZIM nor TAK) , n' was quite decent in her classes but doubted that she could become an elite, but still wanted to show her worth for the empire. She later heard about a test that soldiers could take to see if their qualified for a high n' "special" position in the military, to which she happily signed up, hoping that this would be here chance to prove of her capabilities as a soldier. After which she, n' many other irkens, were sent to a deserted planet, that was filled w/ vicious wildlife n' harsh conditions, where they would have to use their training to survive for 1 whole week, once then they will achieve their promised high rank. Now at first KAI was doing pretty fine on her own, albeit w/ some minor casualties, however on the 3rd day, she came across SCAB who had just been attacked by one of the planet's creatures. She soon rushed down over to him n' was slightly relived that he only had a scratched eye n' a broken right antenna. She later aided the irken n' suggested to stay right beside him, fearing that would be easy pickings knowing that half of his antennas is completely damaged (as irken antennas are used to pick up vibrations). At first SCAB refused the offer, but after much consideration, he decided to accept this offer, as long as they both agree that it was him who decided to team up in case any one ask. N' so the 2 teamed up together n' as the days went they began to grow a platonic bond, (you would would almost considered then friends) n' manage to come out of this w/ only a few injuries. At the end of the week an irken ship finally arrived n' the 2, as well as any other irkens that have survived, hitched on board n' were immediately separated. While SCAB was being taken to medical staff due to his broken antenna, KAI was instead taken to a lab where she later found out that the test was just a way of finding subject durable enough to go through physical, genetic, n' possibly mental alterations to make into better soldiers. A few months passed, n' during this time KAI was placed in a liquid filled pod, only when she was supposed to run torturous n' mind bending test would she be released from captivity. She wasn't the same irken as she was before, not only were here senses enhanced, she was stronger, faster, n' even grew a few inches taller. However these test caused her memories to be scewed, only to remember blurred memories of her time on the deserted planet n' in the lab. In fact she was considered to be a "beta test" meaning that the scientist can go as far as they want w/ the testing,until something happens. N' something did. One day while she was going through the process for another physical altercation she finally snapped, growing claws n' sharp teeth, n' broke loose causing chaos in the lab, but luckily she was stunned w/ a futuristic looking tranquilizer dart n' was put into a comatose-like state. Another few months have passed, KAI has finally awaken to a sharp pain in the back of her head, only to feel a sort of bump, n' appeared to be locked inside a cage w/ laser like bars. She would quickly be greeted by 2 gaurds n' SCAB (who she could barely recognize), who explained as much as he knew on what was going on, which include that she was implanted w/ a behavioral implant, n' would be working along side him as partners. They were soon lead by the guards to a ship that would transport them to Conventia, (where they would be greeted by the tallest) to take part of the great unveiling of the empire's newest rank...the EXTERMINATORS. They would be assigned certain planets that are not only unsuited for the empire, but are also far off from the armada flight path (ex.URTH) where they will cleanse the planet of all organic life that inhabits it, once then, they will use their assigned ship's laser canon to blow said planet up n' return for their next mission. (Why don't they just blow the planet up, to make sure that none of the inhabitants are still alive afterwards.) Long story short KAI n' SCAB got assigned to their first planet yadayada they successfully exterminated it n' they later on became iconic duo, n' had developed a strong platonic bond.
