Hellaverse princes of Hell redesign p1

Greetings my little Implings!

So some of y’all may remember a long while back I made some redesigns of some of the characters from the show Hazbin Hotel. Well I wanted to come back to that but this time I’m redesigning characters from the shows spin off series Hellava Boss. If ya don’t know Hellava Boss is an animated web series you can watch on YouTube that is set in the same universe as HH which is called the Hellaverse. The show stars a different cast of characters, mainly a trio of Imps that being Blitz, Moxie n’ Millie. Along w/ Loona who is Blitz’s adopted hellhound daughter. The show in itself provides a sense of world building, allowing us the viewer to see the other rings of hell. Due to sinners in HH not being allowed to traverse the other rings accept the pride ring. Including seeing the other princes of hell, which I will be redesigning.

Starting off w/ Asmodeus the prince of Lust, n’ the first prince we get introduced to in the Hellaverse series. So what really got me motivated to do these redesigns, was that I found this post about the HH playbook that mentioned about Lucifer n’ how he is most well known for his performances w/ his iconic troupe “the Deadly Sins”. Confirming my suspicions that Lucifer’s design is not only inspired by a circus ringleader. But also that the other sins are connected to circus performers too. So w/ that I decided to follow the same design idea I gave my Lucifer redesign n’ combine regal n’ assigned circus performer. So for Ozzie I gave him fire breather, since he has shown to have elements of fire in his design, plus there’s a scene where he actually breathes fire. For physical appearance his design is meant to be a combo of the biblical design of him n’ a rooster…you can probably guess why they chose that animal. So I decided make that more prominent in his design such as giving him an actual rooster head in the middle. Along w/ giving him rooster feet n’ make his outfit I bit more, provocative. He is the prince of lust after all.

Next is Beelzebub, prince of gluttony. Now I know there were some critiques w/ her design when she first debut. That being she wasn’t plus sized, n’ while I do understand where ppl were coming from, I personally wanted to take a different approach to her design. That being making her look malnourished n’ having to constantly gorge n’ consume in order to satiate herself, even though her hunger can never be quenched. It adds a more dark twist to her character while also still fulfilling her role as gluttony. Also for her circus role I made her a beast tamer since she is also technically the ruler of the hellhounds, as well as making her shoulder pads resemble dog heads. As a quick nod to Cerberus the 3 headed dog demon cause I thought that would be fun. As for physical appearance I decided to lean more into the Bee theme while still keeping the canine aspect mainly w/ her head shape resembling a dog.

Finally Mammon the prince of greed, who if I’m gonna be honest might be my favorite design out of all the princes. Most likely due to my love of clown/jester characters in general by I digress. Anyway the reason behind Mam’s design being a clown, is because clowns are super popular in hell. No doubt due to Lucifer’s influence of course, so it’s obvious why Mam would profit off of it, even though he doesn’t even due clown sh*t anymore according to Ozzie. So for him I just added a more regal touch to his design as well as give him extra eyes as apparently he’s also meant to have a spider theme to him.
