I know I poofed from DeviantArt for over a year and I apologize for the suddenness of it! Honestly 2013 was an awful year and I was struggling to keep myself focused on being on multiple sites, so I really existed on my tumblr almost exclusively. There have been a lot of changes, and 2014 has been proving much better, so I'm hoping to perhaps return.

Unfortunately I have missed out on a LOT of things. You'll have to forgive me for not responding to any comments/messages. When I came back, there where way too many! And so many were so old, it felt odd to respond now. But, I did read them at least, so don't worry about that. Everyone is kind, as always.

In my absence, I kept up with my dailies, have done quite a number of sketches, and recently more full-colored works. I also have nearly finished a novel I started working on! Hurray!

But I'm not sure what I will do with the year's worth of stuff I haven't posted...Post it at once, or not at all and start fresh? Perhaps just the things I liked the best? I know my dailies were very popular here, but that'd be a ton to post at once, so it might be best to keep them on my tumblr. (delusioninabox.tumblr.com/) Not sure. I'm not even sure who's still following me, but I'm grateful if you are! Any thoughts?

Yup, I'm still on dA. I know it's hard to tell since I haven't posted anything in, well, over a month.

Most of that was related to my depression (see the author comment under this page--delusioninabox.com/wp/comic.ph… not inclined to get into it all again on dA), but also I just find deviantArt very overwhelming lately. Gone are the days of no comments, ever.... ._.; Now whenever I post something, there is at least one comment on each one - and since my daily strips are, well, daily...that's a lot of comments!!

I get tired of spending so much time responding, to be honest. I'd rather be doing other things - like more drawing, writing, or applying for jobs! Don't get me wrong; I love getting comments! I enjoy reading them a lot! I just don't have time/energy/will anymore to comment on every single one. So for now I'm considering disabling comments on the dailies so I can still reply at least to comments on my OTHER work, OR leaving comments open on all, but enforcing a new policy of only replying to answer questions or particular comments I feel should be responded to (at my discretion).

So before I start posting up all that you may not have seen if you don't follow me anywhere else, I'd like to know if anyone has a preference for which way regarding comments I go. (Also, should I post it all in one big batch, or spread out over time?)

Gosh, I haven't posted anything for so long. D: I'm sorry about that. My time online lately has been a lot more limited because I've working a lot more hours since December started. As such, I've been really, really tired and to save myself time, limiting where I was posting my work. I kept meaning to post all of them on one of my days off, but never really got around to it and kept procrastinating. I'm sorry!

I have a day off tomorrow, so I'll try to do it then for sure.

I might be disabling comments on the strips though just for the sake of saving me from the time it'll be to respond for them. It's not that I don't appreciate them, but I'm just really really busy, and I always feel awful to leave a comment hanging there with no reply. :C But! If you still really want to comment, you do have options!

I've been kind of in a rough place lately. I don't know how much is just the stress and strain from work and how much is just me being down on myself for no reason, but that's also contributed to my lack of producing and posting work. I'm hoping that after the holiday season, things might improve. We'll see I guess? @_@
