Think Pink

I haven't done a real life issue piece in a while, and my watchers seem to like them. I saw on Facebook that a lot of people are wearing pink throughout February 2011 to raise both money and awareness for Cancer Research UK, in particular for breast cancer.


<sub>Unfortunately, breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK and around 46,000 new cases are diagnosed every year.

The good news is that the death rate for women with breast cancer has fallen by almost a fifth over the last decade.

Thanks to improved detection and better treatments, more people are beating breast cancer than ever before and now 8 out of 10 female breast cancer patients survive their disease beyond five years.

We can only continue our work with your help – join the fight for women's survival and help beat breast cancer.</sub>

I am going to be giving money to cancer research UK this month, so I thought I might encourage a few people to do the same

I hope people don't think that this photo is not taking the charity seriously in anyway. I was trying to portray that maybe the charity should be both on our minds and lips this month...
