Pokemon Eclipse Boxart

Here's the boxart to go with the legendary I made! This little project originally started as an edit of the Sun and Moon logo, then it spiraled into this, haha. For the logo, I combined the colors of the Sun and Moon logos to create a sort of purple-magenta color, and just ran with that. The symbol in the logo was surprisingly hard to come up with, but I do like the one that I ended up making.

For the legendary itself, I did some research on myths regarding eclipses, and found the Norse myths of Sköll and Hati. Basically, they are two wolves who chase the sun and the moon, and when they catch them, an eclipse happens. I tried to incorporate that into this legendary’s design, with the two heads and whatnot.

I'm pretty proud of this, I think it's one of my best boxarts that I've made to date. I'm going to try to make more fakemon and other Sun and Moon fanart in the future, so keep an eye out!
