I should not have been recommended for or placed in AP English Language and Composition. I do not believe I should be in the class; I feel it is too advanced for me. The amount of dedication it requires, I simply do not possess. I have a hard time playing a game of checkers to the very end because my attention span wanes when I realize I will lose, or that it is likely I will lose. In fact, so far in doing this pre-writing exercise I have sampled two Lagwagon songs that I recently downloaded ("Brown Eyed Girl" is excellent, though I'm not sure if that is a cover or not, and "Violins" bored me a little), danced a bit to "In the Air Tonight" by Nonpoint which appeared on the Miami Vice Soundtrack (definitely a cover and I believe Sting performed the original), and eaten four wintergreen-flavored mints. Sitting down and writing essays, as you may discern, is not an easy task, and it's only sitting down and focusing!
