Back in 2013 I went on an adventure to Moab, UT. Since then, I've uploaded scores of photos captured between Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. No matter how many times I sift through the album from that year, I always find something new I missed the last go around. I love Moab. One heck of a place to visit.
This particular shot is Landscape Arch, the largest in the park, and the fifth largest natural arch in the world.
I have the same thing with photos from certain hikes... I think that for me, it has to do with right after the trip being relatively used to the landscape and not seeing how cool it actually is... Returning to the pictures with some temporal and spatial distance makes it easier to see the photos in a different way.
Glad you found this -- what a fantastic formation! I'm glad the trees are there to give it some scale. Great shot!
