Princess of Astronomy by Delight046 Princess of Astronomy by Delight046
Done with 94% watercolor, 5%acrylic, and 1% pencil

This was one of those drawings that I worked on as I waited for the pooh and piglet painting/Zoicite and Mercury painting to dry. I was surprised how fast this drawing went. Sometimes drawings/paintings take longer than others due to composition hiccups, and this one didnt have it at all. However the translucency is a bit wonky compared to the Neptune with her violin. The rings are okay, but I'm still not 100% happy with it. Oh well the grumblings of a self critiquing artist....

Hope you enjoy it!

Oh, she's really pretty! I do agree that the transparency of Neptune's violin is more noticeable, but Saturn's staff/scepter still looks very nice. Good job!

This was beautifully done! i absolutely love the 'magical' affect you added to her hand. There is such detail and it looks amazing.

So, it IS a series?  (hopeful).

P.S.:  Her hair should be longer.

Eh, it might be a series or might not be. If it becomes a series, it will be prolonged over a longer period of time.... Cuz I got commissions hounding me. D: Although if I'm working on commissions that are done traditionally (watercolor), the probability of me working on this series goes up, because I have to wait for my commission work to dry anyway.... XD yay multitasking!

(reply to your P.S.) Hmmm, I did make it a little too short.  I know that I prefer hair more cropped than nearly shoulder length, so I may have gone a little over board. If I get the time I'll fix it. :)

OH DEAR GOD NO. My math skills are next to non-existant, so I would be the Anti-Princess of Math. XD Although I do have the quadratic equation memorized (because of a catchy song), but that is besides the point. :P

I'm glad you like how it turned out! :)

The trick is to pat your head and spin in circles while you do it!
