If you're ever feelin down about how crappy your art is....never fear! All great artists have been in the same shoes as you ! 
That doesnt sound very encouraging does it? :/ Basically, just practice ALOT and you'll get better. Practice makes perfect!
Anyway, this is my 13 years worth of doodles. Some are much better than others, but I can say I really improved with perspective/adding backgrounds/random techniques over the years.
btw, some of these artworks I did not upload to DA (but they are on my facebook account!). XD
