Hello folks. apparently, the last long journal I made also happened to be In February. I was just gonna make this cause I was bored, but It seems I've accidentally started a yearly ritual I don't especially have anything Important to say. I was just thinking like, man, I've been neglecting my Pixiv because I don't feel good enough for the website even though I got a post with like 500 bookmarks on there to the point of seeing It shared on reddit by someone else. that's kinda nutty dude. It's an awesome feeling but I do recognize It was for only that one drawing I feel like If people really want to see my art they can just ask me directly and maybe I can finally retire from art sites or something. but then at that point I'd question them like "why do you care If you see my art or not?". and I get maybe a teeny bit frustrated when people who have known me and seen my art from years ago can't conjure anything meaningful to say about my visible Improvement, when I try new things, and so

I think I saw that you recommended one of my Alien Stage OCs in a group.. i forgot to give you my thanks! >.< Also I've been stalking your art for a while, and I love the way you drawyour pokemon characters

yesss of course, groups are underutilized and actually a pretty good way to find more people In your fandoms.

In case you don't know, you can add/suggest your art to a group manually: https://www.deviantartsupport.com/kb/en/article/how-do-i-add-a-deviation-to-a-group

I'd suggest anime art groups but there's like, a billion and It's kind of effort to find which ones are active ( boils down to finding group, checking the profiles of any founders or co founders, and seeing when they last posted or did anything ). what I should do one day Is make a journal compiling active groups for various Interests and fandoms. I think that might really help people as a reusable reference

also: thank you!!!!!!!!!! I love pokemon

Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Hello! Just a quick heads-up to say that your URL (badylird.com) isn't working... I'm probably super-late to the party (as usual!) and you already know, but I thought I'd mention it. :D

hey debu!

late response but; I know. the url really Is https://deleca7755.github.io/. I've been lazy to remove the domain that I no longer have, so It still redirects there. If I linked any site, It would probably go to my dA anyway as this Is the single most active place I'm on now

It was also two other reasons

- I could at some point renew the domain especially since the payment Is only yearly, and didn't want to have to update It on every site I had placed It on as an external link

- fixing It would make me want to work on the site again, and I'm lazy

In spite of this, I've removed the domain and updated my link. It should work now, maybe

Thank you for the heads-up! I've certainly learned some nifty facts, today (or, knowing what I know now, 'I've Imbibed an Immense amount of Interesting Information') - you have a flair for web page design. Also, I share your penchant for coffee (although, being Bri'ish, I consume a fair amount of tea, as well!).

... In other news, I hope this isn't overstepping the mark, but I saw you were on Steam (me too!) and sent you a friend invite. I tend to design more than I game, but I like to keep my hand in - maybe we can collaborate at some point? :D

> you have a flair for web page design

a little. It's not my entire forté; I'm more experienced with CSS by Itself than I am with HTML and especially JS. people clown on web development and I completely understand. too many components you have to learn to create appealing web design I feel like. the site could be better but was definitely worse at some point

> ... In other news, I hope this isn't overstepping the mark, but I saw you were on Steam (me too!) and sent you a friend invite.

yeah, I had already sent you an Invite first so I'm the weird one actually

Weactalittlesilly
the fun thing about Steam Is that most people have one but won't actually link It so I kinda just search names of people I know and send them a FRQ. maybe It doesn't matter others as much as It does to me, but doing that on various platforms Is one of my ways of showing people they matter to me I guess. that feeling of wanting to keep In contact, not feeling disposable or like another random person yes?
