The Court of Broken Knives / Anna Smith Spark
“The Court of Broken Knives” is written by Anna Smith Spark. It's the first part of "Empire of Dust" trilogy, and it’s one of the few last year debuts which utterly surprised me with its quality and uniqueness. If you want to read something new, something that will give you pure literary pleasure, and still feed your hunger for grimdark fantasy, this book is all of this. And more. Definitely more.
Now, I will not talk much about this unique and outstanding piece of a written art. Let’s just say that the writer Anna have a title of Queen of Grimdark. And it’s bloody well deserved, trust me on that.

Sure, this one is absolutely amazing too. A bit different writing style than Ed McDonald, but most enjoyable and unique. I'm sure you'll love it
Last I heard Netflix should be making a tv show based on Sapkowski' books. Now, that should be interesting.
Also, yes ^^ I'll be curious to see how that unfolds. Eva Green though would make the perfect Yennefer
Oh, they are short and fact pacing book. At least those first two I've read.
Yeah, Eva would be great in that role. And, let's say Zach McGowan (Charles Vane from "Black Sails") as a Witcher. It would be such a killer combination!
Oh yes I’ve seen people suggest McGowan for Geralt. It could definitely work, though I lean more towards Mads Mikkelsen or Richard Armitage
