WIP PC-98 Sprite Reimagining Demo 2: Ayana

Here is a full-body reimagining of the animated Ayana sprite. Just like before, this is a sprite I could come back to and animate, but I made this to better give an idea of how I saw Ayana's regal design from the game. About the only edition you don't see in the original sprite is the footwear, which no one has an idea about what it is she's wearing, but I decided to give her that kind of footwear since I thought it would go well with the regal full design.

If there is one character I want more people to appreciate, it's Ayana, she is such a well-designed character and out of all the nameless characters has a setting in the game that builds to her intrigue as a character because she's obviously there in Makai's Pandemonium Palace for a reason, and the fact that she has attacks that are similar to the stage's enemies is also interesting to me as well.

I've given the most thought to her, and really, that has led to her becoming the second most character I put the most thought into, first being Rin Satsuki, and so what I have to say is that I really love Ayana on a deep personal level, and while many of the other characters I talk about and showcase I think need more to them, I would really love to see Ayana kick off because I think she has a lot of potential in many more ways than most from Touhou PC-98.
