His works are slightly disturbing, phantasmagoric and anachronistic.  In other words, looking at his work, you feel like a voyeur, finding fucked up but intriguiging pornography from another time period. It's pretty awesome.

Umm, I don't know if anyone is interested or has money, but I'm definitely willing to sell my work! Just about anything in my gallery is up for grabs. And I don't mean prints of my artwork, I mean the originals! That goes for sculptures, too. I'm flexible on prices as well, but keep in mind that my sculptures are one of a kind and might be a bit costly on shipping and handling, but I'll try to reconcile it with the actual price. If anyone is interested, send me a note and we can work something out.

Okay, some random things. I'm working on a new sculpture, and it's coming along quite nicely. Despite the fact that it's supposed to be a female and its face looks kind of like a young Hans Christian Andersen (and for those of you who aren't familiar with him. . . he, bless his dear imaginative soul, isn't probably something a woman would want to resemble). He's pictured above.

Anyway. So yeah. Maybe I'll save the head for another figure, or I'll just keep it on this one. The rest of the body looks quite good, though.

And, I finally got a good quality photograph of The Secret-Keeper, if you're interested in checking that out.

Also, I'd like to share some of my current obsessions and inspirations.  Musically, Piano Magic own my soul. Everything is perfectly haunting and atmospheric and sad and deranged and fragile and beautiful. Favorite lyric at the moment;

All the houses on the Crown Estate all look the same
That nut from four doors down wandered in by mistake again
And said to your old mum, "I think it's best that you sit down
I'll make a cup of tea and you can show me what a woman looks like
With her head turned inside out"

&songs to download;
a return to the sea, crown estate, you & john are birds, night of the hunter, snowfall soon, bad patient

Aaand artistically, Beth Cavener Stichter is incredible; followtheblackrabbit.com (do so!)

Plus the Brothers Quay also own my soul, despite the fact that I've never seen any of their films, besides some clips from Street of Crocodiles. This situation must be corrected immediately. Here's a video someone made using footage from a film of theirs, just to give you an idea www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqXh7a…

Wow, I think this entry alone makes up for the fact that I never write here.
