Acid mushrooms, or is that acidic fractals...or psychedelic fractal??

I dunno. How about you guys decide? :D

Apophysis 2.02g using ~skyfirehead's spiral batch 2 script. Enjoy.

Postwork--text and border/frame--done in Photoshop 7.0

ohno, preview is so so beautiful, fullview ruins it :/ a bit of antialiasing will really make your work stand out!

having said that, i really like your gallery, and hope that your new athlon xp will let you render stuff at higher res :)

Yup. I've been anti-aliasing the latest 10 fractals, and also using a bit of blurring in Photoshop as well.

About 86% of my older ones don't have the anti-aliasing so... That's why you see that.

And thanks for the support. :D

Oh yeah, it's been going faster on my normal res stuff, so going higher will be nice, because then in PS I can scale it back down to anti-alias.

it really does look like a mushroom... that's what I like about apophysis. sometimes you can create something that looks like real-life objects, such as jellyfish, butterflies ... and mushrooms :). this is the first mushroom I've seen though, lol

:D Thanks. LOL, yeah this was more a putz-around fractal, and it ended up this really crazy mushroom thing. :D Glad you liked it.

Thank you. Wow, you saw it as I did, huh? That's rare--usually people see almost anything but what I went for in these. :D

Thanks. :) A tree could work, considering it'd easily pass for a strange, mutated alien tree on some faraway world....:P

:D Hmm, they could be, considering the state of genetic engineering and where it's headed. :P

Thanks. :D Great to hear it agreed so well with so many people. :) It was mostly a putz-around fractal, but it looked cool enough to render, so I did.
