Transition by DeepChrome Transition by DeepChrome
Apophysis 2.03a, with 1000th order rotatinal symmetry. I fooled around with the gradient for a while before I got one that looked good enough. I seem to have a thing with the circles in a rotational nowadays...note my previous fractal? :D

I had to poke a few jaggies around with the blur tool and size-downs so the anti-aliasing PS does would get rid of some of them.

Title and framing done in PS 7.0. :)

The name comes from the transition from deep blue, to bright yellow, and all its colors in between. Nothing real fancy.

Probably Spherical and Eyefish, my two favorites with rotationals of that type. I forget now, but I think those are the ones that usually got me some interesting ones.

i have a question about the 1000th order rotatinal symmetry.
i have tried all my rotational scripts and i can't found a script where
i can give the order to 1000th rotational symmetry. may i ask you which
script you've used for this one and the other in this vein?

Thanx Denise

See in the upper menu row where it says Options?

Pull it down to Options and release.

You'll get a dialogue box with a bunch of tabs on it. Click on the Random tab. You'll find an area there that says "Forced Symmetry." Pull down to "rotational" on type, and plug in 1000 for the order. Then click OK.

To do a fresh batch of fractals with that symmetry, hit control-B.

You should have a batch of rotational fractals at a symmetry of 1000. :D

Thank you very much, i found it and i tried it.
It's so simple but with a great effect :-)

You're welcome. I tried to make it as clear as I could so you'd know exactly where to look. Have fun!

fantastic, the colors are amazing, gorgeous :-)
What meant jaggies? I can't find this word in my dictionary?

It's not a dictionary word. It's slang for the pixilation one will find in an Apophysis fractal when lines are very thin and going at specific angles. A fractalist has to go back in and do postwork on it, blur the pixilation out so the fractal looks as smooth as intended.

That help? :)

Thank you. :) I'm a big fan of very smooth fractals, so...heh...now you know why I like to put it in my own. ;)

This is gorgious. Gives me the feeling of Jazz, this being like the horn of a trumpet, can see sudtle lines flowing out of the end with musicl notes, as an advertisement for a Jazz book. Outstanding job on the colour choices: )

That's interesting. I never thought of music, but the way the gold and yellow parts shine do remind me of trombones and trumpets. Thanks.

You do amazing work with circles!
always great quality and smooth like.. baby face!
also the colors You have chosen here amaze me: i lov blue and yellow together..
great work!

advanced critique? eh.. only thing i miss is those little rays which always are in such cirles.. but! the smoothes absolutely cannot go with them.. so.. no more critique!

You mean like spokes in a wheel? If you look real close, you'll notice the rays in there. ;)

Thanks for the comments.

I'm a big sucker for bold, vibrant, luminous colors, so when I see a gradient with them that just works, I'll use it. Thanks.
