Tangled Star by DeepChrome Tangled Star by DeepChrome
Well, :deathscythechan: suggested I do a 7 point star version of Festival Star.

I couldn't quite get the ribbony look I liked out of that, but I did get this interesting star that looked like a cross between yarn and Charlotte's Web. So uh......here you go. Apo 2.03b, with some subtle blurring and levels postwork in Photoshop. Title and frame are also from Photoshop.

Very nice. It seems a little too crowded in the centre for my liking, but the colours easily make that up.:)

Yeah it's very busy in the middle. Thanks for your input. Glad you liked it anyways.

Love the purply colors contrasting with the white focus lines, it really, really gives this piece a flarish pop to it.

Awesome job.

Thanks. I really tried to get a gradient that would emphasize the layers and layers of lines in this, while still keeping it simple. Gradients with more than three colors just made it too busy, and single-color ones too plain. I knew when I had it right when I hit on this one. :)

Very nice! Reminds me...I had this awe-sum star going the other day...and like an idiot...I didn't save the parameters...and kept tweaking the triangles beyond undo! ...then I just walked myself out of getting back to the original or close...LOL. I hate when my brain knows better...but it sinks into a state of stupidity...LOL Anyway...very nice job! : )

Thank you. Usually I'll triangle, and triangle, and if I like it, I just render it, and save the render.

I really enjoy the layer upon layers of geometric shapes; the hexagon, the stars, triangles, and circles. It is so energetic, but manages to maintain a very nice delicacy, which I enjoy as well. Nice work!

Thank you. :) Glad you liked it. I like to do stuff that's different from my usual, and this was fun to play with. I wasn't sure what people would think of it, but we'll see.
