TRIANGULATED by DeepChrome TRIANGULATED by DeepChrome
Okay, so I finally went and looked at the Julian Revealed tutorial by Claire Jones step-by-step, and had Apophysis open and working away as I did each step. It was a very, very good tutorial and I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to make these things. It takes all the fuss and mystique out of it. However, there is still mystique remaining when it comes to what people can do to them beyond the basics.

Then I began tinkering with the numbers in the Variables tab. What I got was this rather nifty triangular Grand Julian, so I decided to just keep at it, becuase it was different from typical GJs. I didn't want to just post this totally cookie-cutter, typical Grand Julian after having just learned how to make the things. It seemed so...trendy.

And I don't like going completely with community-sweeping trends, so there you have it.

To top it all off, it's in my favorite range of colors--aqua/turquoise to purple to magenta. :D

Thanks. :lmao: Well I was puttering around for a while becuase I remembered some instructions from that tutorial before, and thought if I tried on my own after a skim, I could do it.

I couldn't. But it did make for a lot of cool "out of my usual box" fractals for a while, and it's going to continue to. :D

Never underestimate the value of tinkering.

I get the strange impression of a waltz when looking at this. Not sure why exactly, it could be the swirling-ish or circler effects.
