STARRY SKY by DeepChrome STARRY SKY by DeepChrome
Even more parampong in #Aposhack. This time the params came from ~Sc0t0ma, who also supplied me with the JuliaC plugin to try out. It doesn't have too many kinks to it, and seems fairly stable on this machine.

Anyways, this is kind of like my Starry Night remix, but a completely different feel and premise. This one definitely needs fullview to be fully appreciated--there are little star-like specks in all the "panels" on this fractal. ;)

This is also another off-center compositional "experiment" since I'd been doing a lot of very centered stuff lately. Felt like being different this time.

Apo 2.08, a little Levels in PS along with the title and border.

beautiful work!
i really enjoy the 'stained-glass' script, makes all apo pics pretty and .. hmm.. 'religious' ;)
but this work looks rather like nebula photo imported into apo and 'scripted' into starry flower.
colors are perfect and vivid, great composition and thanks a lot for such big file for enjoying eyes!
good job m'Dear!

Thank you. :)

I like to give people a big fullview, simply because details are appreciated better that way (and I like huge fullviews myself ).

Simply brilliant! Your pics are the kind that just seem to pull you in without knowing it!
This would look cool on the ceiling above my bed!
...
Then again, it might freak me out a bit... O.o

thats awesome, did you use a real picture of the night sky or is it all CG?

Entirely CG. :D It's all made in a fractal-generating program called Apophysis. (It's also freeware, look for it on sourceforge.net/project/apophysis, or just search for Apophysis on sourceforge.)

And thank you. :)

The scope of this is just wondrous. Magnificent. Glorious and awe-inspiring. Utterly consuming and pulling me in without me even knowing

Thank you. :) I wanted to go for an astronomy picture kind of feel, and you've just confirmed that it worked. (I aimed to keep the colors similar to those galaxy photos we see.)
