Rainbow Spirit by DeepChrome Rainbow Spirit by DeepChrome
Yup. I told you, I'd do some other background color than white one of these days.

I actually killed the render of this one's predecessor in a fit of sleepy forgetfulness. I'm kinda glad now, because I think this one would've looked better anyways.

However...I will say this now, and forever hold my peace: DAMN THOSE JAGGIES! :shakefist: :surrender: :dead: I've blurred out as best as I could, but if you still see them, be aware I know they exist and cannot seem to get at them without compromising the fractal's details. Advice on how to cope with these in designs like this is MUCH appreciated. Thank you.

Apophysis 2.02h, using a tweaked spiralize script, and then Make Bilateral. Those of you trying this, remember to delete your 12th triangle, or you won't see Make Bilateral take effect. ;)

Text, cropping, blurring, and frame done in Photoshop 7.0.

I love your use of swirling lines and color, and the effects it creates are beautiful. Wellndone!^^

Thank you. :) Glad you liked it so much.

I'm a sucker for rainbows in fractals, so when a spectrum gradient looks good, I'll definitely use it. :D

I try to reply. I don't get so many messages that I can't reply to the ones I feel I should reply to. (It's rare that I don't. If I do, it's usually when I can tell the conversation won't go any further, and I just don't reply then.) But, you know, it feels right to say thank you.

I can understand some artists may not want to--that's their thing. But I feel I should at leat keep some semblance of manners and say "thank you."

That's a neat image, but it does happen with these kinds of bilaterals--what's in the center becomes the strongest focal point.

Thank you for the compliment.

Very beautiful....Wow..you won't believe this...but I've just saved one that turned out simular to this about 3 days ago...looks like a pair of butterfly wings in Apophysis....but I just didn't get to it yet....so I'm going to have to rethink this one...so it takes on a very different look.
This one would look great printed out in a big frame and hung over a nice looking sofa..it would add to the room for sure...great piece of work and art: )

Thank you. :D

It may be a while before I get printworthy stuff, but at least I'm starting to see it on a more regular basis.

cool! reminds me of a praying mantis or some photon blast from PSO =D
Great colors & BG as always...
the only thing that i can think of to reduce those jaggies is make the fractle UBER big, and resize it to be what you normally have 'em at....or just until it doesn't compramise the detail...

Okay....sized it WAAAY up to 4000 px across, then back down to 1100. Seems to have done the trick.

Thanks for the tip. I will SO be using that in future jaggie-slaying efforts. :salute:

Hahaha. Yeah.

It was the ONE thing I just didn't think of--because I used to have problems with resizing up making things too blurry. You'd THINK I'd remember that...but somehow it escaped me. :lmao:

Thanks again for the tip.
