PRISMFIRE 3 by DeepChrome PRISMFIRE 3 by DeepChrome
Here it is, the long awaited third piece in the Prismfire series. :D It does look different, but it also looks like it belongs in the series as well. Same methodology on the other 2--sinusoidal variation and *skyfirehead's spiral batch script, along with a hearty dose of triangle putzing.

This one, the gradient in Apo came out as very much the red spiral of boxes against a heap of blue distorted ones. However, when I want to brightness-adjust in Photoshop, a whole 2 more layers of very distorted boxes (that was how it looked) showed up. However, they were purple, and kinda ruined the red vs blue thing I had going on. So much color tweakage, subtle painting, and layer bending later, I finally get the effect while showing more of the formerly hidden aspects of the fractal. :dead:

That was a bit more postwork than I'd signed on for, but I got the effect I wanted. :)

Apo 2.03c, postwork and title/text in Photoshop 7.0.

Thank you. I'll try to do more of these. :D Dunno how long this series will last, though.

Makes me think of one of those fancy VR computers people are always visiting in sci-fi flicks..

Heh, cool imagery there. Yeah, it does have a sort of Johnny Mnemonic or something vibe to it. :D Thanks.

*Ding* "Welcome to the desktop."

'Nother question--why are VR and spacecraft computer voices always female? The only one's I've noticed that are male are HAL from 2001 and Steve from Hitchhiker's Guide.

I've wondered that too sometimes. I dunno. Maybe people just find female voices more pleasant?

True. It could be a maternal thing.

Looks great! I always thought blue and red belonged together.
Makes me think of shards of glass in a blender.

Well, who do you think even inspired me to think red and blue look so cool together like this?!

Anyways...hmm, glass in a blender, yeah, I can see that. Or glass shards going down a drain. :)

Thanks for the comments.
