Took a while to make that gas giant, but I'm very happy with this piece!

Thanks. I've been piling new stuff in my HD or on Tumblr. I just forgot to update over on DA. Recently I got pointed to from Night Dive Studios because of my System Shock fanart (they're doing a remake of the first game), so I'm trying to clean my DA up a little. Organize the galleries, put in some fresh work, etc.

I should probably be updating the art on here more often, as well. So expect other new stuff soon!

Haven't really been able to warm to Tumblr. I know everyone has moved there, but it's just a pain.

Yeah it's pretty clunky, and the staff hasn't really streamlined or helped the interface much with their upgrades. If you haven't warmed to it now, you probably just won't. There's tools like new xkit and the like, but I'm finding I keep having to add more and more plugins and modifications to get past all the Update Crap the staff likes to put on but doesn't really help. :| (Blank Stare)

Facebook isn't my cup of tea, just like Tumblr isn't other people's cup of tea. -shrug- Everyone has their way of interacting online, so I'm not one to really be put-out, especially when Tumblr has so many issues.

There's another site - pillowfort - that aims to create the kind of interface and staff-to-members interaction Tumblr lacks. They're in phased beta, but should go public eventually. Maybe in time, that'll take off and perhaps be easier to use. (I'm thinking of moving there once it goes to full public, but we'll see.)

I'm starting to come back to my DA for a couple of reasons - mostly because it's the single biggest repository of my art, and it goes back over a decade. Most of the stuff I don't even have on my computer anymore. (Multiple machines, multiple crashes.) And because some of my System Shock fanart got noticed by the game studio doing the remake of the first game. And then my DA got posted to their twitter and Facebook. Time to spiffy up, then. :D
