- In the wetlands, there are precious few clearings free of drenched earth and muddy ponds. Rarer still are ones with a good view of the autumn lights — tangled branches thick with foliage often obscure the skies. "It's nothing like home," says the traveller, placing another biscuit-cake down on the grass before him. He still has one from the last time she went digging in her pack, but she doesn't seem to think that's important.
In atlos, the best vantage points often have many people of all kinds gathered together, often without any kind of forethought or planning. A kinship between close friends and strangers alike, brought together by the autumn sky.
