So recently, a member of the DA Staff has responded to my ticket about the problems concerning the old DeviantArt site being removed.  Here’s what he said “This is the future of DeviantArt. It isn’t feasible for us to keep the old version of DeviantArt running once the new version is fully released. Managing two versions of the site doubles the amount of work it takes to keep the site running, and makes it even more difficult for us to introduce new features that deviants have been requesting.
